What is Slim Boody?

Slim Boody is a beef jerky brand made in Cairo, Egypt. We make three flavours of slow-dried beef jerky (Hot Sweet Brisket Rub, Salt, Pepper & Garlic and Teriyaki) in 50 g packs with 21 to 23 g of protein each, and sell them online at slimboody.com.

How much does it cost?

200 EGP for a 50 g pack. Any 2 different flavours cost 380 EGP, all 3 flavours 540 EGP, and a box of any 4 packs 700 EGP. Delivery is 50 EGP and free from 4 packs.

How much protein is in a pack?

Between 21 g and 23 g in every 50 g pack: 23 g in Salt, Pepper & Garlic, 21 g in Hot Sweet Brisket Rub and 21 g in Teriyaki (42 to 46 g per 100 g).

Where do you deliver?

Across New Cairo: Fifth Settlement, First Settlement, Third Settlement, South Academy, El Rehab, El Narges, El Yasmeen, Madinaty, El Shorouk. Delivery costs 50 EGP and is free when you order 4 packs or more. Delivery to the rest of Egypt is coming soon.

Can I pick it up?

Yes, for free, from South Academy, New Cairo, 2 PM to 12 AM (midnight). We send you the exact location on WhatsApp.

How do I order and pay?

Order on slimboody.com and pay with InstaPay, or in cash on delivery or at pickup (a 10 EGP cash fee). After you order, we confirm on WhatsApp. Card payment is coming soon.

How fast is my order confirmed?

Usually within 5 minutes: we check every order ourselves and confirm it on WhatsApp, together with the delivery or pickup time.

Is it halal?

Yes. We only use halal beef.

Is it spicy?

Only Hot Sweet Brisket Rub is spicy: it starts sweet and finishes with chilli. Salt, Pepper & Garlic is peppery, and Teriyaki has no chilli at all.

Does it need a fridge?

Not before you open it. It is dried and sealed, so it keeps at room temperature for 3 months from production, away from heat and direct sunlight. Once opened, keep the pack closed in the fridge and finish it within 5 days.

Which flavour has no sugar?

Salt, Pepper & Garlic: 0 g sugar per pack. Hot Sweet Brisket Rub has 6 g and Teriyaki 8.3 g per 50 g pack.

What allergens does it contain?

Hot Sweet Brisket Rub contains soy and wheat (gluten). Teriyaki contains soy, wheat (gluten) and sesame. Salt, Pepper & Garlic has no major allergens listed.

Is there a discount on the first order?

Yes. Sign in with your email at checkout and your first order gets 15% off the packs.

Do you have a loyalty programme?

Yes, "Count It In Grams": every pack adds 21 g of protein to your meter. You get 1 free pack at 210 g, 2 free packs at 420 g and 3 free packs at 630 g, and after that a gold 100 g pack every 210 g.

Can I return it?

Yes. Unopened, sealed packs can be returned within 14 days for any reason. If a pack is faulty, damaged or wrong, tell us within 30 days and we replace it or refund you.

How do I check the production and expiry date?

Scan the QR code on the back of the pack: it opens a page with that batch’s flavour, production date and sealed expiry date.
